FAQS

  • What is the Junior Elite program?

  • How is Junior Elite different to Competitive?

The Junior Elite program is the stepping stone for players and teams to enter the Elite program pathway.  All Junior Elite teams are either top teams at their age group and gender.

  • How is a player selected for the Junior Elite program?

All players are evaluated over the course of the year by the Junior Elite and Junior Academy staff, this is to ensure that the individual is meeting the criteria to be on an Junior Elite level team.  The teams are then formed over the Player Placement/Tryout process in May/June.

  • What is the commitment level needed?

The Junior Elite program recognizes that players do and should play multiple sports at an young age.  We are not asking the players to give up their hobbies for soccer.  We do however ask that if you want to be in the Junior Elite program,  that you attend all practices, games and tournaments whenever possible.  We also would like each player to recognize that they are the top players in their age group, and they need to dedicate their time to developing their skills whether at home or in training.
